While searching Facebook today, I found an online lecture Tuesday May 14 at 7:00PM BST (1:00AM CST) titled, Prayer and Well-Being: A Spiritual Adventure. Though this falls in the middle of the night for us, First London Church does record their lectures and posts them on their website. See the link below for more information:

Are prayer and healing for you? I mean, if you have no experience with spirituality or religion, or you’re not even sure what you think about God, can you still pray and be healed? Yes. Because prayer and healing are natural to us, and I say this as one who didn’t even grow up in a religious household. But what I’ve discovered as I’ve studied Christian Science is that a willingness to shift perspectives, to see things in a new, more spiritual way, has an effect–for anyone.

Nate is a Christian Science practitioner and member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. After producing a documentary on miracles and traveling the world, Nate went to Boston to work for The Mother Church, serving in many capacities, including launching and producing the Daily Lift podcast. His many hobbies include adventuring in the outdoors, writing songs and cooking.

Christian Science was the answer to Helen Wood Bauman’s deep desire to help humanity, and her understanding of the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy bore fruit in an extensive healing practice. She went on to become a teacher of Christian Science, and her love for communicating its healing rules and laws, coupled with her love for writing, enabled her to have over 1000 articles published in the Christian Science periodicals. Our film gives viewers an inside look at an individual who would become the longest serving editor of the Christian Science periodicals.

Healing 101 is presenting a free live webinar by Alexandre Fischer titled, How Spiritual Perception Brings Healing – Saturday May 8th at 1:00PM.

About the speaker:

I practiced law in France and in the United States for several years. As a litigation lawyer in France, I used to argue cases in court and I did my best to meet my clients needs. Practicing law was not just my job, it was a passion. To me, being a lawyer meant precision in thinking and a desire to help others get out of trouble.

During those legal years, I got more and more interested in Christian Science. At first, I was just impressed by its remarkable healings and resolutions. As I dug deeper, I found a profound spirituality. To me back then, religion and spirituality meant accepting a system of beliefs and the letting go of discernment and critical thinking. But the more I studied and practiced this deep spirituality, the more I found that it was not about believing in anything. It was about exercising critical thinking in understanding spiritual concepts, which in turn could be applied to my life to bring healing…
