Maybe you\u2019ve been in one,
\na small town hardware store;
\nto me, a sort of disorderly
\norder; to some, an utter
\ntreasure trove to plumb.

Once in one, I stood nestled
\nin shovels and screws, oblivious
\nof the sacred moment waiting in
\nthe midst of the unremarkable; a
\nlone watering can, top-shelved
\nand out of service for who knows
\nhow long \u2013 maybe forgotten in
\nplain sight \u2013 caught my eye…
